Monterey Bay Aquarium & Aunt Julaine's Wedding

We had a great time Half Moon Bay with the whole family. Grammy & Poppa let us stay at their place in Castroville so we could go to Aunt Julaine's wedding in Aptos, CA, so we took full advantage and stay a few extra days. With all the extra time we were able to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Play at the Beach, go on a Bike Ride, and cruise around Capitola. Mabel & Parker loved the Aquarium, especially the Penguin feeding show right when we arrived, the "under the wave" exhibit, and the Puffin tank. Lyla loved the waterbed mat thing in the kiddie area, the jellies, and her new stroller!

Aunt Julaine's Wedding was awesome, Everything worked out just as she had planned and you couldn't have asked for a nicer day - we're so excited to welcome Tanner to the family. Parker & Mabel were both so excited to be the ring bearer and flower girl. We even caught Parker on video sneaking a wink to Mommy while walking down the isle, and Mabel very meticulously places flower pedals in the right places - she took a while, but she got the job done right!

HGTV Dream Home

In an attempt to win the HGTV Dream Home in Lake Tahoe, we took a family picture showing all the things we like to do in Tahoe in an effort to win. We're probably getting all excited for nothing, but it was fun getting together and hoping! My mom dressed as a hiker with poles and a backpack, and Dad as a fly fisherman (and a random set of clubs in the corner of the picture). Marci as a tennis player, Kent as a wake-boarder, Julaine as a skier and Tanner as a snowboarder, Sheena as a cyclist, and Me as a Mountain Biker, Parker and Mabel as beach kids, Lyla as a bike trailer rider, Camden as a quad-er, and Carter as a snowboarder.
