This weekend we got to go to Auntie Julaine's and her Boyfriend Tanner's for a visit. We really didn't have anything planned, other than going to the Oakland Temple to see the Christmas lights - but we had a lot of fun just playing in their neighborhood in Lafayette. Mabel fell asleep in Aunt Julaine's bed after our car trip, and ended up peeing the bed since she hadn't gone to the bathroom the whole way there. Parker got to go with Tanner and Julaine and I to the reservoir near their house and play hide and seek with everyone around a really cool playground.
The temple was face numbing cold, but we had a great time walking around and seeing the lights and nativity. Parker loved the Christus statue in the Visitor's Center and was very impressed by the space painting on the wall around it. Mabel got a hold of a Japanese Book of Mormon and wouldn't let it go. She kept offering to read it to everyone and told stories about Rapunzel and her tower instead.
