Parker is finally big enough to ride in a forward facing car seat! It has been so nice for him (and me) to face forward and see out the window. He looks a little unsure in the pictures, a little mesmerized perhaps. But he enjoys seeing the cars and stop lights.
Also, we took Parker out for a mini hike this weekend. He hasn't been in the backpack for quite some time but enjoyed riding on Daddy's back and being outside. Parker got really excited when we walked down to the river and saw lots of ducks. He thought they were funny and loved when they would race to eat his cherrios in the water.
Later when we got home he took another ride in the backpack to mow the lawn with Daddy. I think these pictures say it all:
How lucky we are to have a little guy that loves to be outside and hang out with Dad.
Oh, and we think Parker is getting his top two teeth!!! At least that's what we hope will explain the last few nights of waking up in the middle of the night. Come on teeth!
