So Big

Parker is a year and a half and is getting to be a big boy. I am just amazed at how much he learns and surprises me everyday. A couple of weeks ago we went to an indoor pool to try out his new floatie. He didn't mind putting it on and did really well with it in the pool. His feet and legs move as soon as they touch the water. I can already tell we will be spending a lot of time in our pool this summer!

Trains
I was just so amazed when I found Parker building a train track all by himself. There was a bag of track in my bedroom that he started with and when he ran out of track pieces, he would walk down the hall to the playroom, grab another piece from his train table, and walk back down the hall to add to the track. It was so cute.


A little more about Parker
He loves to sing songs and make the hand movements to go along with the songs. He also loves to be outside exploring the yard, pushing his bubble mower, splashing in puddles, and getting dirty! He likes to count things and knows numbers 1-5! And he is also starting to learn colors really well. Right now he favors the color yellow. I think he just really enjoys saying yellow. It's kind of a fun word.
I am really enjoying this age and learning more about him.
