Baby #3

So it's been awhile since the last post. One day I will be really good at this! I'm going to try to post something at least once a week, perhaps a highlight from that week.

Since Parker is in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I thought it might be nice for Mabel and I to do something special together. When Parker was 2, he started going to Fliptastic (gymnastics) and loved it, and I had a good feeling Mabel would too. So we've been going for the past month and she's really enjoying it! At first she didn't want me to put her down, but by the second week she was doing things on her own. It's interesting to see the differences between the two. Mabel is a little more brave and less cautious than Parker. She just goes for it! Whereas Parker would watch, think, and then act (slowly). I really value this one on one time with Mabel, especially with a new baby on the way...

We are expecting our 3rd child in October and couldn't be more excited! I am 12 weeks pregnant and still sick all day! I will admit that it has been so much better the last 2 weeks, and for that I am happy. Parker is excited (in his own way) and says he wants a little brother. I'm not sure how Mabel is going to react to a new baby, but I'm pretty sure it's going to take a lot of time for her to adjust. Right now she is in love with her "baby" (cabbage patch doll) and takes really good care of her. Hopefully that will carry over to a real baby.
