4th of July

Although this is way late, I wanted to write a quick blog about our 4th to document.

Since I am really pregnant, and the weather was scorching hot, we decided to hang out by the pool and see fireworks at the local community center. We had fun swimming with family and lighting sparklers. Parker enjoyed the sparklers, but preferred to watch them instead of hold them. After dinner we went home for a bath and pj's and got ready to head over to see the big fireworks. We parked, walked, and found the perfect spot to watch fireworks. Parker waited patiently and finally the show started. The boom of the fireworks was too loud for him, and he instantly got scared. There was no comforting him, so we decided to head back to the car. We could still see the fireworks from the car, so we stayed and watched. The noise wasn't as loud so Parker eased up and was in awe of the show. He was shouting out colors, and saying "ooh, big one!". It was so cute!Afterwards, we went back home and did some more sparklers in the dark and Trevor lit some ground blooms. He liked those too and wanted "more, more!".We had a lot of fun just the 3 of us and maybe next year Parker will be ok with the boom!
