"More Oc-go-gon!"

I couldn't be more excited about having a little boy who loves shapes, colors, letters, and numbers! Parker's favorite shape right now is an octagon. He loves saying it, but also gets super excited whenever he see's stop signs while we are driving around. He shouts out "oc-go-gon!" and then asks for more. Sometimes he'll even get a little upset if there aren't any more stop signs around.

With a new baby on the way, we have been planning and prepping our house and ourselves. We just recently purchased a toddler bed for Parker and tried it out the other night. It was a SUCCESS! He cried a little at first and got up but stayed in bed the rest of the night after Daddy put him back in. Then around 5am we hear his little feet running down the hallway. Trevor quickly jumped out of bed and put him back in the toddler bed and we held our breath that he would fall back asleep. Luckily he did! It was so great, and promising for future sleep times. Or so we thought... Nap time he kept getting out and peeking around the corner at me. As soon as I would get up to put him back in bed he would run back in his room and jump into the bed. I have to say, it was really cute and I laughed, but I couldn't keep up and eventually gave up by putting the mattress back in the crib. We'll see how tonight goes...

We are almost done with the nursery! My incredibly talented cousin is going to paint something cute on the wall and then we'll just be waiting on Parker to master the toddler bed so we can move the crib into the baby's room. I'm so anxious to have it all done. I'm feeling the desperate need to have everything ready. From diapers stocked, to onesies washed and folded! I am 32 weeks and feeling great! But I'm starting to get less agile and less mobile. Can't wait for this baby to arrive!
