Mabel is starting to take to the swimming pool. Last year she would hardly let Daddy hold her in the water and dip her feet in, but so far this year she loves walking around on the steps and sitting on the kick board while being zoomed around the pool. It's only about the 2nd time we've been in the pool this year, she's becoming another another little fish just like Parker & Dad.
This is the second month in a row we've gone to the kids workshops at the Home Improvement stores. Last month the whole family stopped at a Lowe's in Glendale on our way to Grandpa Johnson's house to use the bathroom. This month it was at the Home Depot near our house on Howe Avenue. Parker really gets excited to go do these at the "daddy store", but I think he's mostly excited to get the metal after he completes the assignment (the metal is actually a pin that he can put on his apron). Along with a new found love of handiwork, we've been on a Muppet marathon of sorts. We rented the new move The Muppets, and since then we've watched the Muppets take Manhattan, the Great Muppet Caper, and seen in the picture watching Muppets from Space. Kermit & Fozzie are the favorite characters, but their favorite parts are the musical numbers where eveyone sings and dances together. Parker just belts out "I've got everything that I need.. riight in front of me:" from The Muppets..
