Mabel is getting to the age where she's starting to get really excited about things. She was super nervous about the petting zoo, but was so chatty about the fact that the goat ate the ice cream cone. She was nervous for the little train ride, and for the corn feed pit too, but when it came time for the pony ride, she just hopped right on and was grinning the whole time.
Parker is getting to be an old trooper at the pumpkin farm. He could jump in the hay all day long, and he said his favorite was the hay ride to the pumpkin fields to pick our Halloween pumpkins. Farm life is perfect for Parker because he just loves to wander and explore, and in the big pumpkin fields he can wander way off and we're still able to keep an eye on him. There's not too much trouble to get into there either.
We're all set for Lyla's arrival next week (Oct 1). The doctors say she is probably about 6 lbs as of Tuesday 9/18, so hopefully she'll continue to grow all the way until her due date!
