On Wednesday we met with Dr. Van Gundy to hear about the echo results. As expected, Parker looks to be doing very well, but one concern has brought us back to the reality that lil' P has a serious condition. His coronary arteries have taken to the surgery very well (which is the greatest concern), but the aortic artery is producing a bit of leakage back into the heart. Parker is ok for now, but the concern is that if it continues - his heart will have to work too hard to pump his blood. For now, we have an appointment in 6 months to check any progress, so it's not an emergency situation.
Lately...
Our baby has taken the shape of a ball. (see above) He has found his feet and tries to stick them in his mouth.
We've been, unsuccessfully, feeding our little one carrots this week but he is not at all interested. I thought for sure he would enjoy eating food as he studies everything we eat. Instead he holds his lips together tightly and scrunches his face. Hopefully this will pass.
Parker loves being outside. A couple of days ago we bought a swing and he enjoys it very much. We also went to the park with my cousin Shauna and her kids, Amaya and Adonijah, and he had a blast in the park swing too!
He is still working on perfecting his roll. Right now it's still a little inconsistent but he is also working on the back to tummy roll.
Parker is on a new schedule where he's up for 3 hours instead of 2. So far it's going well, but go a few minutes past 3 hours and he's a different baby.
He has taken to his sippee cup.
He is slowly turning into a "toe head".
It seems that every time he wakes up from a nap, he has grown more and more.
More pictures in the photo album.

Where much is given much is required. that is all I can think about little Parker. He is such a sweet and wonderful boy!
I am glad to hear there are no immediate concerns. I will keep Parker in my prayers. He is such a cutie! See you at the zoo next weekend!

Thanks for the comment about Aiden! He is still the same, but at least he is not worse. I hope it doesn't last much longer!
