It Has Begun...

(I wrote this post awhile ago so it may seem choppy as I add and delete to make more current.)

We've had a couple of milestones here in the Johnson household. First Parker got his first tooth on Monday (22nd). I was "brushing" his gums and felt a snag on the washcloth. It was so exciting! Especially because we didn't experience anything traumatic like fevers, sleepless nights, or diarrhea. A day later the other bottom front tooth came in. It's funny to see him touching his teeth now. (no picture to document however because it's impossible to get him to stay still and show his teeth) However as the weeks have gone by we are now experiencing the extreme crankiness, fevers, and lack of sleep. Not fun. So far no other teeth have appeared. The picture below is after a rough day of little sleep and being miserable all day. Poor little guy couldn't keep his eyes open even for bath time!

And then 0n Friday (26th) Parker started to officially crawl! He was getting really good at the 'army crawl', but thankfully got up on his knees and stayed on them! He's so cute crawling around and mostly just stays on the carpet.

(notice the little bear dangling from his mouth as he crawls around. So funny)

We also celebrated my birthday on Sunday(28th). It was a perfect day and I was so happy to spend it with my family.

For the 4th of July we were able to spend half the day with some friends of ours visiting from Utah. Their son is just 4 days younger than Parker. They are the best of buds. And we loved being able to spend time with them.

More photos in the album. Including more from the 4th of July and Parker's crazy sleep positions.
