Post-Surgery

The arterial switch procedure went as planned, and Parker is doing as expected. We thank everyone for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. The next few days are critical to his recovery, and so far he looks to be doing well - and has required less heart medication than the typical patient. He has moved into the Pediatric ICU, which is more intense than his previous location (if you can imagine that), so visitation will be very limited. But we expect him to be well enough to move back to the NICU in 3-5 days.

Thank you again for all your support!

I am soooo happy that surgery went well. Parker is a strong little guy! Then again, how could he not be with parents like you. Hugs from far away whenever you need them as the next few days pass. we love you!
