Parker was released from the UC Davis Medical Center yesterday, and he spent his first night at home! He had been doing well for several days in a row, and had gotten to the point where monitoring from the hospital was no longer necessary. Mom & Dad will have to take close care of him for quite a while after his release, as he is still getting 3 different medications, still has a broken sternum (from the surgery) and is at great risk of getting RSV (a respitory virus that can be fatal to premature babys & infant cardiac patients). As a precausion, we are asking that nobody visit until we are settled into our new house so that we may control his germ environment.
We'd like to thank our ward friends for helping us with our new house on Saturday. We were very touched by everyone's concern, and willingness to help. I don't think I've ever seen so many people at a ward service project before, and they accomplished so much!

Yeah, congratulations on being home at last. We are very happy to hear the great news. Rusty and I check every night to see the progress. Breanna and Sabrina can’t wait to hear the news in the morning on how your family is doing. They will be so happy; Breanna will definitely have to tell BJ about the great news. Welcome home and have a great time being a family.

Finally back home together. Such great pictures, he is so handsome. Happy to hear he is doing so well and continues to show us how strong he is. Now we just need to get him a bowling ball! Miss you guys, can't wait to see you at Christmas, and finally meet little Parker! xoxo
That is wonderful news! I'm sure you both will do great in taking good care of Parker at home. Being a family in your NEW home will be the best! Hugs and Prayers continue....
