RECOVERY - DAY 9

Parker is starting to look better. In what's been the longest week of our lives, Parker is overcoming all the obstacles put in his way. He's adapted well to having the respirator out of his lungs, his blood pressure has been fairly stable, and his biggest challenge is to ween himself off the medication he's on without upsetting his stomach. Mom & Dad had their first chance to hold Parker since his surgery, and he loved it! We promise to post more pictures in the next few days now that he's looking better, and you can actually start to see through all the wires that previously covered him.

A special thanks to all those who have helped on the new house! We'll be painting and landscaping on Saturday if anyone else would like to lend a hand. Please bring your own tools/supplies.
