RECOVERY - DAY 5

Parker continues to recover. While his heart is now fully functional, he still has a few hurdles to overcome before he leaves the Pediatric ICU. It's only been 5 days since his surgery, but since then his body has taken in a lot of fluids. The Dr.'s main concern at this point is getting Parker to urinate enough to drain the excess fluid in his body. Once this happens, his breathing tube will be removed, and his mom should be able to hold him and feed him his meals (this should happen in the next few days).

Thank you for all your prayers and support!

Wonderful news!! I continue to pray for little Parker to heal and move forward, for Mommy Sheena to heal and get to hold little Parker, and for Daddy Trevor to continue to have the wonderful strenght to help his family achieve their goals... and for him to hold little Parker. I am ready to help you both how ever you might need me.
